Today, I'm going to be reviewing the L'Oreal Miss Manga mascara!  Mine is in the Voluminous Waterproof version.  Waterproof mascaras aren't for everyone, typically because they can be so difficult to remove. I used to prefer regular mascara formulas but decided to give waterproof a try and I'm so glad I did!  I learned that my lashes respond best to waterproof mascara.  Just like we all have different hair types, (dry, oily, thick, thin, fine, coarse, etc.) we all have different lash types too.  My lashes respond best to dryer mascara formulas, it defines them much better than a more wet goopy formula.  If your lashes won't hold curl, try using a waterproof mascara.  Waterproof mascaras have a higher wax content than regular mascaras.  The extra wax in the waterproof formula, allows your lashes to hold their curl! Enough with the facts, lets get into the review!
The L'Oreal Miss Manga mascara has a unique multi-flex wand that allows you to get those hard to reach lashes from any direction.  It and the tapered spooley brush, help preserve the curl because it doesn't overly coat your lashes and weigh them down. I wouldn't describe the formula as dry, but its not the wettest formula I've ever used either, somewhere in between. This mascara hasn't flaked or clumped for me.  If you over brush your lashes without reloading your brush, some small clumps can develop.  It lasts all day, as do my curled lashes!  I wouldn't say it opens your eyes as much as the advert suggest, but it does do a pretty great job.  This is my new favorite mascara!  From my experience, it's not just hype surrounding the L'Oreal Miss Manga mascara, it really is that great! So good!

When it comes to removing your waterproof mascara, try makeup remover, coconut oil, or my personal favorite, Vaseline!  In my experience, Vaseline works better for makeup removal than coconut oil! Yes, better than coconut oil! Just take your time working it into your lashes then wipe it all away, plus Vaseline or coconut oil, both moisturize your lashes too!

I definitely recommend this mascara!   I bought my waterproof version at Target for about $7 or $8. Go pick one up and try it for yourself!  Let me know what you think of it in the comment section below!
